While Britain was producing drop top Triumphs and MGs, Fiat was busy with a similar but different plan.
When it came to designing its own two seater convertible, Fiat got creative. The result was the X1/9, a distinctive and pretty two seater with the perfect sports car set up - the engine in the middle.
Few cars of its era and size deliver thrills per mile quite like the zippy X1/9. Quite simply, it's a hoot. There's not much power but you don't need it - unlike grown up sports cars it is fun at any speed.
Our X1/9 is one of the last built and features Fiat's 1500cc engine, a manual gearbox and removeable roof.
